Holiday cottage, Ilfracombe (3mls S) - Sleeps 6 (FCH27446)

Gather together in the spacious farmhouse kitchen or cosy up in the lounge: this detached split-level barn conversion has a wonderfully sociable feel to it and, is perfect for a holiday when you want to catch up with friends or family. In the evenings jump into the hot tub and let all your stresses melt away as you soak under the clear, starry skies.

Somehow this sympathetically converted barn manages to be both spacious and cosy at the same time, with beamed ceilings and areas of exposed stone giving the property an authentic characterful feel. If the spacious kitchen is the beating heart of the property, the lounge, which is accessed down several wooden steps, is the restful retreat where comfortable sofas allow guests to enjoy the views across the garden and surrounding countryside from the French windows.

Two bedrooms, a twin and a super-king can be found on the ground floor of the property, whilst the stunning master bedroom is a super-king-size room with a gorgeous en-suite bathroom with a deep roll-top bath. Surrounded by peaceful countryside and rolling fields, guests who are looking to escape all the stresses of daily life will adore the location of this property, and the miles of peaceful scenic walks available close by.

For something a little bit different, there is an outdoor activity centre less than half a mile from the property offering an eclectic range of activities from quad biking to battle-zone archery and axe throwing! For a lovely day at the seaside make the 4-mile trip to Ilfracombe with its beaches, shops, and bustling harbour.
