Located right on the water's edge with a private patio garden boasting panoramic sea views, this lower-ground floor studio apartment is ideally suited for adventurous couples looking for excitement in North Devon. The popular harbour town of Ilfracombe is a fun destination in itself, with plenty of local seafood to sample, shops to explore, an aquarium to visit and much more right on your doorstep.

No space is wasted in this cosy studio apartment. Cleverly implemented features allow you to convert the space to suit your needs, such as the easily hidden wall mounted double bed. Step in for a break from seaside shopping to a space bathed in natural light, subtle decor and sea views from almost anywhere in the open-plan living area.

A shower room tiled in ocean colours is handy for rinsing off sandy feet after a day on the beach, then for a perfect evening follow this up with a drink on the patio watching the waves lap at the shore as the sun sets. There are plenty of things to do close to Smuggler's Cove without ever needing to get in the car.

Take a trip to Tunnels Beaches, where for a small fee you can access an incredible private beach; explore rock pools and walk through tunnels carved in the 1820's. Further around the coast, you'll find the larger sands of Woolacombe and Putsborough beaches just 7 miles away. Alternatively, for the chance to visit historic caves, witness wild seals and deer and experience a truly unspoiled British gem, boats to the majestic Lundy Island leave frequently from Ilfracombe Harbour.
