Set out on foot for a stroll along Appledore’s picturesque quayside or browse the independent shops and galleries that line the cobbled lanes behind.
Lovingly fitted and furnished in a clean, bright and contemporary style, this delightful home features wooden flooring, sash windows and chic modern decor throughout. Cook and enjoy delicious meals in the open-plan kitchen/dining area before taking to the comfortable sofas in the lounge area beyond for a relaxing evening in front of the TV.
Or, when the sun is shining, head out into the carefully maintained patio garden for an al fresco meal surrounded by beautifully stocked flowerbeds. Boasting a wealth of maritime history, Appledore is still a busy working harbour with a picturesque quayside. Set back from the water, independent shops, cafes, galleries and pubs offer up locally-sourced produce and gifts to take home.
Catch the ferry to nearby Instow, set out along the Tarka Trail or soak up the sun on Westward Ho! beach (3 miles). Or venture further afield to visit Saunton Sands (18 miles), RHS Rosemoor (11 miles) or Dartington Crystal (10 miles).
