Holiday cottage in Westward Ho!, Devon - Sleeps 4 (FCH4894)

Sat just off the seawall with stunning beach views, this property promises an idyllic stay for guests - you'll never feel far away from the sea here. Situated in the heart of Victorian seaside town, Westward Ho!, you can enjoy a day out exploring before coming home to a cottage that's bright and airy with large glass windows throughout.

It's a beautiful setting for winding down on the balcony with a glass of wine while watching the sunset dip below the ocean. Whether you're admiring the view while sat at the dining table or lazing out on the balcony, you'll feel a sense of calm in this two-floor apartment, set over the third and fourth floors.

The high ceilings and huge sliding doors on the fourth-floor flood the open-plan living space with light, making it the ideal space to sit and relax. The neutral decor promotes a peaceful atmosphere, so you'll have a wonderful night's sleep whether you're in the double or twin room. Wake up in the morning and prepare for the day by cooking up a big breakfast before heading out along the coast.

Walk just 0.5 mile along the South West Coast Path and find yourself on the 2-mile stretch of sandy beach that Westward Ho! is famous for. Children will love all the entertainment just off the beach, including adventure golf and go-karts as well as amusement arcades. For a longer walk, take a leisurely stroll around the Northam Burrows Country Park (less than a mile) that the beach backs onto.

The fishing village of Appledore (3 miles) is well worth a visit, so explore its narrow winding streets and eat at one of the waterfront restaurants.
