If the sun is shining, dine alfresco upon the rear patio, with a charcoal barbecue on offer, basking in the Devonshire air from your enclosed and private garden.

Make your way up the stairs to find five bedrooms, all offering a warm and relaxing feel; there is a double bedroom, a twin, and a bunk for the children of your group, resting on the first floor, alongside the bathroom, whilst two further double bedrooms lie on the second floor, enjoying stunning vistas of the coast.

Explore the nearby town of Salcombe which has plenty to offer, from watersports, sailing, and boat hire to a range of independent shops, restaurants, and pubs; Salcombe North Sands is worth visiting for a day at the beach, possible to follow the coastal path around to the beautiful Soar Mill Cove.

For a day trip, visit Kingsbridge, Dartmouth or Plymouth; in Kingsbridge, take a walk around the estuary and follow the trails to explore the local wildlife, before enjoying a tasty lunch or dinner at one of the local pubs. About the Salcombe area

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens.

Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens.

The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
