Peace and quiet are often just what holidaymakers are looking for when they come to Devon, and this one-bedroomed barn conversion is just the place to find exactly that. Set in a rural location, there are many miles of scenic walks and cycle routes to be enjoyed direct from the property's front door, with the promise of a warm soak in the property's sumptuous spa bath at the end of the day.
Far more spacious than a hotel room, this property offers plenty of space to relax and unwind in the open-plan living area with its cosy wood burner. The bedroom is a super-king room but can be set up as a twin on request thanks to the zip-and-link beds, whilst there is also the possibility to add an additional double bed to the room.
The bathroom has a chic sanctuary-like feel and not only offers a spa bath but also a separate shower too. Six steps lead from the lounge out to the garden (though there is alternative step-free access), a delightful space with children's play equipment, a seating area, a BBQ, and a pretty summerhouse.
A true rural idyll surrounded by beautiful countryside, this property nevertheless is also situated within easy reach of the coast and the nearby towns of Barnstaple (6.5 miles) and Bideford (5 miles). Keen walkers may like to walk part of the Tarka Trail, a disused railway which runs for 102 miles around the coast from Braunton and into the countryside at Meeth, whilst those looking for a sandy beach should head to Westward Ho! 8.
