Set within 100 acres of woodland and farmland in the delightful Devonshire countryside, this wonderful cottage can sleep up to 9 guests and welcomes 2 well behaved dogs.

Perfect for families or groups of friends, the detached cottage has its own private garden with hot tub and barbecue, as well as a communal games room, children’s play area, and plenty of on-site parking. Step inside and you will find a spacious lounge with ample seating, large Smart TV and an impressive fireplace with open-fire, which is a wonderful focal point in the room.

The farmhouse style kitchen is a wonderfully sociable space with large table and chairs perfect for bringing the group together for mealtimes. A separate snug offers an alternative seating area with doors leading out to the enclosed rear garden. Head upstairs to find a double room, two twin bedrooms.

About the Aylesbeare area

The pretty village of Aylesbeare is surrounded by an array of rural landscapes and sits in the heart of East Devon with far-reaching seascapes and access to the incredible Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. Aylesbeare is the perfect getaway spot to explore the Devonshire coast and the Blackdown Hills which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The woodland village of West Hill is close-by with a well-stocked convenience store and is the pickup point for the local pizza van, whilst the town centre of Ottery St Mary is around two miles away. The beautiful seaside town of Sidmouth is just 20 minutes by car and has a host of independent shops, cafes and eateries, not to mention a stunning coastline with beaches for sunbathing and surfing.

Topsham is also a short drive away and is an excellent day out with a bike hire for exploring the trails. It has a wealth of good restaurants and pubs along the quay. It even hosts its own vineyard for wine tasting evenings. Visit the charming port town of Exmouth with wonderful views of the marina and estuary, where you can hire a boat and enjoy kite & wind surfing.
